Jacqueline Hollows
Jacqueline Hollows is the founder of Beyond Recovery C.I.C (BR), an established social enterprise whose mission is to revolutionise the way addictions and mental health are viewed and treated and to eliminate stigma. Through sharing an understanding of how our experience of life is created from our own minds, the pioneering work that BR does has the potential to reform the criminal justice system from the inside out. The impact on the lives of people BR work with and the results on the broader community have been phenomenal. Jacqueline is also honoured to have been able to share life changing stories and BR’s published research from this work, at a number of national and international speaking events. Jacqueline says “I have been working within the criminal justice system (with support professionals and people with convictions) since 2014, delivering our innovative programmes. I have seen that, through a fresh thought in any moment, a deeper level of common sense, wellbeing and resilience is always available regardless to circumstances.” Five years on, Jacqueline and her team at BR have established themselves as the thought leaders on this ground breaking work, recognised both in the UK and Internationally.
